- 1980 : Creation of Brevidex with the objective of direct selling second hand office furniture
- 1980 : Creation of GDB in Belgium proposing new office furniture from stock through the Office Guide catalogue
- 1985 : Brevidex purchases the entire stock from the Elf Aquitaine tower, resell it to third parties and finance their development
- 1986 : Creation of a catalogue featuring new office furniture available for resale through dealers
- 1988 : GDB becomes part of the ALCOPA group
- 1989 : Brevidex becomes part of the DAMART group
- 1990 : GDB launches on the French market
- 1991 : Creation of a 20.000m2 distribution centre in Strepy, Belgium
- 1993 : Internationalisation of the GDB concept in the Netherlands, Russia, Poland and the UK and Ireland
- 1995 : Brevidex enters the Belgian and Luxemburg markets
- 1997 : GDB is elected company of the year in Belgium
- 1998 : MARLOT BFC and MARLOT RONALP, regional office furniture wholesalers join the BREVIDEX group. AB DESIGN, seating manufacturer rejoins the group
- 1998 : GDB is nominated European Exporter of the year for Wallonia ( OCBE services category)
- 1999 : Brevidex launches in the UK
- 2000 : ISO 9001 certification awarded for the Strepy site
- 2001 : Brevidex joins the RAGON group alongside CAPRENTRAS- DONARIER (stationery wholesaler)
- 2003 : ISO 14001 awarded for Strepy and ISO 9001 ( version 2000) confirmed
- 2008 : 1st February, creation of the EOL group joining GDB and Brevidex
